According to the History of Portage County, OH, Rhoda and David were married in Granville, Washington County, NY or in Berkshire County, MA.
There is a record of Lucinda Day, born May 1826 in the International Genealogical Index, film number 2034405, "Lucinda Day, femaile, born May 1826, Ohio, parents David Day and Rhoda." As written by Christine Galbraith, who did the research for this line, "this record is vague enough that it may be merely a coincidence of names. It is recorded here provisionally, pending further evidence to verify or refute."
(Source: Records of Christine Galbraith, Apr 2000)
Rhoda (Wheelock) Day, while living in Ravenna, Ohio, corresponded with her son, Luther, while he was attending school in Bennington, VT, and Cambridge, MA, circa 1835-1838. These letters survive in the possession of Llewellyn Rinald, whose husband is a descendant of Rhoda's father, Amariah Wheelock. The collection also includes a letter from Luther to his sister, Luthera Taft Day, dated 12 Mar 1835; and an undated letter from Luther to his brother, Daniel Day.
