In the Name of God Amen The Tenth Day of May 1758 I Obadiah Wheelock of Shrewsbury in the County of Worcester and Province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England Husbandman Being in Perfect Helth both in Body Mind and Memory Thanks be given unto God. Therefore calling into mind the Mortallity of my Body and knowing that it is appointed unto all men once to dye Do make this My Last Will and Testament. That is to Say Principally and first of all I give and Recommend My Soul into the hands of God that gave it. And My Body I Recommend to the Earth to be buried in decent Christian Burial at the discretion of my Executors Nothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I Shall Receive the Same again by the Mighty Power of God; And as Touching such worldy Estate wherewith it hath Pleased God to Bless Me in this Life I give [...] and dispose of the same in the followed manner and form:
Imprimis: I give and bequeath to Martha my Dearly beloved wife whom I constitute one of my Executors (with my two Eldesth Sons) of this my last will and Testament, The Incom of one Third of my Real Estate Together with all my Household Goods with Three Cows and the Privilige of a [House] (or if the Real Estate should be Sould, The Value of the Incom of one Third yearly in Money or Provision as shall suit Sd. Martha [best], with a comfortable dwelling room).
Item: I give to my Eldest well beloved Son Obadiah Wheelock Whom I Likewise Constitute make and ordain another of my Executors to this my Last will and Testament the one half of my Real Estate throughout in Quantity & [Quality] Together with one half of the Remainder of the [...] stock with the Husbandry Tools Provided the Sd. Obadiah payeth one half of [...] [Leagels] Which are to be Mentioned in this my Last will and Testament.
Item: I give to my Second beloved Son Joseph Wheelock Whom I Likewise consititute make and ordain my third & Last Executor to this my Last Will and Testament The Remaining half of my Real Estate with the remainder of my [quick] stock and husbandry and tools provided Sd. Joseph payeth one half of the Debts and [leagels].
Item: I give to Elias Wheelock My third beloved Son Thirty Pounds When he comes of age to be paid to him out of the Estate by Obadiah and Joseph.
Item: I give to Jesse Wheelock my fourth beloved Son Thirty Pounds when he comes of age to be paid to him by the Sd. Obadiah & Joseph.
Item: I give to Amariah Wheelock my fifth beloved son Thirty Pounds when he comes of age to be paid to him out of the Estate by Obadiah & Joseph.
Item: I give to my Eldest and beloved Daughter Zipporah Wood wife to Josiah Wood Fifteen Pounds part of which is paid as May be Seen by the account of the [...] which she had the Remainder to be paid by Obadiah & Joseph.
Item: I give to my Second beloved Daughter Martha Wheelock fifteen Pounds to be paid to her out of the Estate by Obadiah & Joseph.
Item: I give to my third beloved Daughter Abigail Wheelock fifteen pounds when she comes of age to be paid to her by Obadiah & Joseph.
And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all and every other former [...] wills legalis and bequests and Executors by me in any ways before named willed and bequethed ratifying and confirming this and no other to be my last will and testament in witness whereof I have herunto put my hand and seal the day and year above written. Signed Sealed Published pronounced & Delivered by ye Said Obadiah Wheelock as his last will and Testament in presents of us the Subcribers
