In the name of God Amen, the Seventeenth Day of May 1776 I Paul Wheelock of Charlton in the county of Worcester [gentlemen] being sick and weak of body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God therefor [setting] to [mind] the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to dye do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament that is to say [principally] and first of all I give and recommend my sole unto the hands of God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in decent Christian burial at the [discression] of my executors nothing [doughting] but at the general resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldy estate it has please God to bless me with I give [demise] and [dispose] of the same in the following manner and form --

Item: I give and bequeth to Abigail my dearly beloved wife a room in my dwelling house in Charlton and that which she shall [chuse] with a suffitiont priveledge in the [sellor] for her use during her natural life or remaining my widow and the one half of my indore moveables I give to her to be at her [owne] disposal for ever, and also will and order my executor, herein after mentioned or named together with my well beloved son Paul Wheelock in equal parts to provide for her sufficient firewood, ready cut, fit for the fire at the dore and also to let her have two cows and keep them summer and winter for her use and also a horse to use whenever she pleases [shod] and in order and annually and every year to let her have ten bushels of Indean Corn and five bushels of rice and 2 bushels of wheat and 110 pounds of good pork and 100 weight of good beef and 10 pound [wool] and 10 weight of flour and thirty shillings lawful in cash each and every year during her natural life or remaining my widow as [afore] [said] and in case my said wife should be sick to provide for her doctors and nurses and all necessaries for her comfort in all and every time that she may be sick during the time afore said and also I give to my said wife the [prescribed] [use] of a seat in my pew in the Charlton meeting house during life.

Item: I give and bequeath to my well beloved sons Silas Wheelock, John Wheelock, and Adam Wheelock and their heirs and assigns for ever eighty pounds lawful money each to be paid to them or their heirs each ones eighty pounds at the time when he shall arive at the age of twenty one years by my said executors hearafter named together with my said son Paul Wheelock in equal parts between them.

Item: I give and bequeth to the heirs of my beloved daughter Ruth Kalley Late of Charlton deceased three pound lawful money to be paid them by my said executors and said son Paul Wheelock in Equal parts as afore said within one year after my decease.

Item: I give and bequeth to my granddaughter Abigail Kalley one of the above mentioned heirs Eight pounds lawful money to be paid her at her marrige by my said Executors and Said Son Paul Wheelock in manner aforesaid.

Item: I give and bequeth to my beloved daughters Mary Drurey, Abigail Dressor, and Sarah Thompson and to their heirs the one half of my indore moveables to be divided equally between them in one year after my decease.

Item: I will and bequeth to my well beloved sones Seth Wheelock and Edward Wheelock Whome I like[wise] [constitute] make and ordain my joynt executors of this my last will and testament, together with my son Paul Wheelock and and to their heirs and assigns forever all the remainder of my estate, both real and personall both in Charlton or wherever the same may or can be found to be divided equally between them three after paying my [last] debts that is to say one third part to each of them upon the condition that they three do equally between them pay and procure for my said wife all articles hearin afore mentioned and reserved for her as afore said and also equally pay between them all the other legacies afore said on [third] [parts] which I have willed and ordered them to pay in the manner before described.

And I do hereby disallow revok, and disanull all and every other former testament wills bequeths and legacies and executors by me in any way before named willed and bequethed ratifying and confirming this and no other to me by last will and testament in [witness] [whearof] I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day and year above written and in the [sixteenth] year of his majesties reign is signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said Paul Wheelock as his Last Will and Testament in the prisence of us the subscribers.

March 4th, 1777 ---- Jeremiah Howland, and Jacob Davis personally appeared before me and made solemn oath that they saw the [testator] Sign and Seal and heard him pronounce publish and declare the above will to be his the said [testators] last will and testament in the presence of the other subscribing witness and that they published their names as also the other witness in the [testators] presence and at his [request] and in the presence of and that the [testator] was of a [sound] [...] mind at the time of executing said will in their opinion.
