Austin is listed in the Mendon Vital Records as Albert A. Wheelock, but was know as Austin by his family. His tombstone in Pine Hill Cemetery refers to him as Austin, as do deeds and probate records.

Austin and Helen lived in Blackstone on Main St, near or around First St. and Market St. Austin owned and operated the Union Hotel in Blackstone.
