On 13 Nov 1837, Paul Wheelock married Lydia E. Wood in Charlton.

On 9 Apr 1839, Paul Wheelock, of Charlton, changed his name to John Adams Wheelock ("Massachusetts Name Changes, 1780-1892").

In 1848, John A. Wheelock, of Worcester, and Lydia E., his wife, had a son, John Adams Wheelock.

His Worcester death record (Mass Archives, 41:356) identifies his birth place as Charlton, but does not list his parents. The cause of death is listed as "insanity".

His will, case 63711, probated in 1848, is on file at the Worc. Probate Office
