On 17 Nov 1769 Zedekiah Drury "of Temple" and Mary Wheelock published their intentions in Charlton.¹

He and Mary apparently settled in Temple, Hilllsborough Co, NH, where they are enumerated in a 1775 tabulation of residents there: Zedekiah Drury, Jr, with 2 boys under 16, 1 man between 16 and 50 "not in ye army," 1 person "gone in ye army," and 2 females.²

Zedekiah Drury, Jr, marched from Temple to Cambridge on the 19 Apr 1775 Lexington alarm, absent 12 days.³

On 7 Jan 1776 he enlisted for one year of service in Capt. Ezra Towne's company, Col. Reed's regiment. He died intestate before the year was out, possibly of malaria. On 27 Nov 1776 his widow, Mary Drury, and father, Zedekiah Drury, were granted administration of his estate.⁴
