His father, Benjamin, wrote his will on 1 Sep 1814. In it he left real estate to sons Abner, David, and Kiron, but "in case my son Kiron should not live to the age of twenty one years, his equal part to be equally divided between the above said sons, viz. Abner & David."¹

Kiron's estate was adminisered by his brother, Abner Wheelock, 2nd. It consisted of 53 acres in Charlton, with the buildings thereon, 10 acres in Spencer, and various items of personal property.²
