A marriage license for Edward Silas Whellock [sic], Jr, age 18, and Sylvia Ann Young, age 18, both of Watonga, Oklahoma, was announced in the 3 July 1924 edition of The Wakita Herald (Wakita, Oklahoma).¹

The infant son of Mrs. Wheelock, formerly Miss Sylvia Young, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mart Young, was buried in a cemetery south of Watonga in Sep 1924.²

Ed and Sylvia had a daughter in 1925 - Carol Beth Wheelock.

They divorced 9 Dec 1927.

After his divorce from Sylvia, Ed Weelock married Lillie (Patterson) Davis. No records of children of Ed and Lillie have been found.

Edward was a bookkeeper, and lived in Watonga his entire life.
