Notes:

In 1900 he was age 17, living in Warren, Warren County, Pennsylvania with his parents, William McCray and Rosalie, whose maiden name was Crosby, according to her death certificate.

Per obituary, he was survived by two daughter, Mrs. Smith and Miss Jane McCray of Parkersburg, W. Va. He was preceded in death by his wife WInifred Wheelock McCray; one daughter, Mrs. Ann M. Thorn in 1970; and two sister, Mrs. Lena Brady and Miss Ethel E. McCray.¹

Middle name Wheelock from the death certificate of his son, Arthur Eli Wheelock, who died 9 Aug 1951 in Charlotte, Eaton Co, MI.¹

Eli was gored to death by a bull.²
