Notes:

Augusta was the cousin of William W. Childs, her husband's brother in law. She died while visiting her daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Scott, at Streator, Illinois. Besides Charlotte, she was suvived by three additional children: William, of Tacoma, Washington; Fred and Arthur of Charlotte.¹
