Notes:

Edwin Wheelock graduated from the University of Vermont, was a Congregational clergyman, a superintendent of Schools, a representative to the Vermont Legislature, and, briefly, a state senator. Edwin and Laura had six children, four of whom were surviving in 1892-93: Mary Ella (Mrs. B. R. Holmes of Cambridge), Lucy (of Boston, MA), Abbie Laura (Mrs. C. F. Hulburd of Cambridge), and George L. of New York.¹
