On 3 July 1787 Lucy Wheelock along with her husband Adams Wheelock, Jonathan Lamb, and Nathan Lamb sold to David Lamb a parcel of land in Spencer that they had inherited from their father, Jonathan Lamb. In the same transaction they also sold to David Lamb the "thirds that were set off unto our honoured mother out of the estate of the said Jonathan Lamb."¹

This, along with the age of death on her headstone establishes Lucy Lamb as the daughter of Jonathan Lamb and Elizabeth Rirchardson, who had the following children recorded in Leicester: David Lamb, b. 14 Dec 1739, Jonathan, b. 3 July 1742, Nathan, b. 3 Nov 1744, Lucy, b. 5 Aug 1758, and six others.²
