This is probably the Wilber Spencer, age 6, enumerated in the 1860 census living in Pleasant Township, Porter Co, Indiana, in the household of Joseph and Olive Spencer. His brother was Charles Spencer, age 8, presumably the same one that married his sister-in-law, Mary Elizabeth Wheelock.

In 1860 he was 6 years old, living in Pleasant Township, Porter Co, Indiana, in the household of his parents, Joseph Spencer, age 33, born Ohio, and Olive Spencer, age 32, born Canada.

In 1880 he was living in Alma, Christian, Missouri, single, age 25, working in the lead mines.

On 29 Dec 1881, Alice Lee married W. F. Spencer in Highlandville, Christian, Missouri.¹

In 1900 he was living in Jackson Hole & Teton District, Uinta Co, Wyoming, with his son, Charles O. Spencer, age 17. Per 1900 census he was born Mar 1854 in Indiana. He is listing as having been married for 18 years, but no woman is enumerated in the household.

This is probably the Wilber F. Spencer who married Martha Partridge in Elk, Uinta Co, Wyoming, 19 Sep 1901²

In 1910 he was living in Reno, Washoe Co, Nevada, age 55, with his wife Martha. They had been married for 10 years.

In 1920 he was living in Lake, King Co, Washington, age 65, with his wife, Martha, age 55, and his stepchildren Herbert W. Partridge, age 33, born Michigan, and Blanche Partridge, age 33, born Texas.

He is not found in the 1930 census.

In 1916 Wilber F. and Mrs. Martha Spencer were registered to vote in San Diego County.

This is probably the Wilber F. Spencer, born 1852 (sic), died 29 Aug 1930 in Monterey, California, buried in El Carmelo Cemetery, Pacific Grove, Monterey Co, California (FindAGrave # 133730597).
