The Boston Recorder and Telegraph reported the death of Mrs. Catharine Wheelock, age 64, at Dorchester, 4 Apr 1828, mother of "the late Bapt. Mssny. to Burma". This is a reference to Rev. Edward Willard Wheelock, who was a missionary to Burma in 1818, and died shortly thereafter at sea, while enroute from Rangoon to Calcutta.
