Peter, Mary, and Abigail, children of Mary Thayer, deceased, are mentioned in Benjamin Wheelock's will, dated 1745. Walter T. Wheelock, in "The Wheelock Family in America, 1637 to 1969" lists Elizabeth Thayer, an additional child of Mary Wheelock and Ebenezer Thayer, but no mention is found in the Vital Records of Mendon or surrounding towns.
"Illustrated History of Pawtucket, Central Falls and Vicinity", by Robert Grieve, published 1897, Providence, by Henry R. Caufield, pg 108 has additional information about this family. This book is found online here: http://www.rootsweb.com/~rigenweb/article108.html.
