Infantry, with many references to Charles Wheelock - "History of the Ninety-Seventh Regiment New
York Volunteers Conkling Rifles", by Isaac Hall, ISBN# 0-935523-25-1. His Wheelock ancestry, as
it ties in to Rev. Ralph Wheelock, is not known.
- John Hall Wheelock, (1886-1978) was an award winning poet,
and chief editor for Charles Scribner and Sons.
