Per record of marriage to Charles Benham, Anna was born about 1869 in Nelson, Kent County, Michigan, the daughter of Norris Sheldon and Eliza Simmons. According to record of marriage to Charles Dunham, she was born about 1870 in Michigan, the daughter of Norse B. Sheldon and Eliza A. Munley. Her mother's death certificate confirms the 'Simmons' maiden name.¹

She survived her second husband, who died 28 Sep 1936, and was the informant on his death certificate.²

She may be the Mrs. Anna Dunham, 78, whose death in Kalamazoo is reported in the 10 Mar 1947 edition of the Detroit Free Press.³
