In 1925, Charles E. Abbott, 23, was living in Hamburg, with his wife, Frances K. Abbott, 20, and their daughter, Joanne F. Abbott.

On 30 Nov 1927, their son, George Malcom Abbott, was born in Texas.¹

He is probably the C. E. Abbott in the 1930 census, age 26, married at age 21, born New York, living in Moore County, Texas, with Mrs. C. E. Abbott, age 23, married at age 17, born South Dakota. Also in the household were their daughter, Joann Abbott, age 7, born New York, and their son George Abbot, age 2, born Texas.

In 1940 he resided in Hamburg, age 38, with wife Bernice, age 34, born New York, and son Hugh Abbott, age 8, born New York.

Per obituary, Charles E. Abbott was survived by his wife, the former Bernice Constantine; a daughter, Mrs. Charles Stafford II of Chicago; a son, Malcom G. Abbott of Miami, Florida; and a step son, Eugene O. Hughey, Jr.²

He is enumerated in Providence again in 1870 and 1880, but has not been located in the 1900 census.

William Green Wheelock, age 63, is identified as a resident of San Franciso in 1900.¹

The 22 Dec 1907 edition of The San Francisco Examiner, p. 42, col 7, contains a death notice for William G. Wheelock, died 19 Dec 1907, husband of May H. Wheelock, father of William G. Wheelock, Jr. and Annie F. Wheelock, native of Rhode Island.
