Stella, inflicted with TB, was taken to California by her husband, Chester E. Corry. An accomplished pianist, she raised two children, Chester E. Corry, II, and Marj Corry. It is not proven that Julia was the daughter of Martin and Clarissa. But the proximity of her headstone to Roxanna, Martin, and Clarissa, and her appearance in the 1850 Census living in the same household is taken as sufficient evidence.
