In 1930 he was living again in Hamburg, with his wife Florence, sons Robert G. Abbott, 12, and Lee E. Abbott, 10.

In 1940 they were in Orchard Park.

In 1950 Roland B. Abbott, age 53, automobile mechanic, was living in Buffalo, New York, with his wife, Doris Abbott, age 24, born New York, and their daughter Linda Diana Abbott, 2, born in New York.

Roland and Doris were residents of Buffalo in 1957, per city directory.

Roland B. Abbott birth date:

The records are inconsistent regarding a birth date for Roland. In the 1900 census, with his mother as informant, his birth date is listed as May 1895. His World War I registration record lists his birth date as 25 Dec 1895; and the World War II registration record lists 31 Dec 1895. Roland was presumably the informant for both these records. The Florida Death Index lists his birth date as 31 Dec 1895; but the Social Security Death Index gives 31 May 1895. His gravestone says 1894.
