But a deed in which Elisha Roe of Williamstown sold land to Dan Foster of Williamstown, dated 1 Oct 1823, has Electa Roe's seal, indicating release of her dower rights to the property (Berkshire County, Deeds 123-1828, 29:446). This deed establishes the presence of Elisha and Electa Roe in Williamstown in 1823.

She was age 50 from Wisconsin when she married Elias Bartlett. It was her 2nd marriage.

Upon the death of Elias Bartlett in 1865, Eliza A. Bartlett quitclaimed, for $1300, to the heirs of Elias Bartlett (naming all the children) all her right and title to the real and personal estate of Elias Bartlett.¹
