This is probably the Elizabeth Russell born 18 Dec 1714 in Woburn, Middlesex Co, MA, daughter of John and Joanna Russell.¹ The age is right, and the name given to daughter Joanna fits.

This may also be the Elisabeth Wheelock who married Joseph Daby 11 May 1761 in Leominster, MA.² Her husband had died prior to 1761, and no other Elizabeth (or Elisabeth) Wheelock has been found that fits.

Elizabeth Daby, widow, died 24 Dec 1803 in Leominster, MA, age 89.² This would place her birth date in 1714, consistent with the Woburn birth record.

There is an application of membership in the General Society of Colonial Wars for William Barker Wheelock which supports the parentage of Elizabeth Russell outlined above.³
