Notes:

The Leominster Vital records refer to Naomi as Nancy, from Sterling, MA. Her parents were Joseph Fairbanks and Ann Doyle.¹

A Naomi Wheelock, age 50 to 59, is enumerated in the 1830 census living in Leominster, Worcester Co, MA with one female age 20 to 29 (probably Sophia), two females between 10 and 14 (probably Abigail and Orice), and two young boys between 5 and 9 (probably George F. and Henry P.)

A Naomi Wheelock, age 30 (sic), is enumerated in the 1850 Census, living in Northborough, Worcester Co, MA, in the household of James B. Gallup and Dorothy Gallup, age 38. This is most likely Naomi (Fairbanks) Wheelock, age 70.

Naomi apparently had a child out of wedlock a year or two after her husband died. See notes for Henry P. Wheelock.

Her administration of estate, dated 7 July 1863, lists next of kin as follows: Charles Wheelock of Leominster, son, George F. Wheelock of Boston, son, Nancy White of Clinton, daughter, Mary Wheelock of Clinton, daughter, Eliza B. Patrick of Lancaster, daughter, Miriam Cook of Leominster, daughter, Dorthy Gallop of Leominister, daughter, Abigail Taylor, of Leominister, daughter, Edwin Cawthorn, of Northborough, grandson, David Cawthorn of Northborough, grandson, and George Wheelock, of Northborough, grandson. Though Henry P. Wheelock is not listed amongst the next of kin, he was made a payment out of the estate.²
