- "Vital Records of Rockingham, VT, and Records of the First Church of Rockingham, VT, 1773-1839", compiled by Thomas Bellows Peck, published 1908 and 1902 respectively, later by Genealogical Society of VT, 1994.
Father: Jonathan Wheelock
Mother: Hannah Corey
Spouse: Susan Gould
Marriage: 4 Mar 1821, Rockingham, Windham, VT
- "Vital Records of Rockingham, VT, and Records of the First Church of Rockingham, VT, 1773-1839", compiled by Thomas Bellows Peck, published 1908 and 1902 respectively, later by Genealogical Society of VT, 1994.
- Oliver King Wheelock, born 1 Aug 1822, Rockingham, Windham, VT
- Andrew Jackson Wheelock, born 7 Aug 1824, Rockingham, Windham, VT
- Henry Samuel Wheelock, born 4 Dec 1829, Grafton, Windham Co, VT
- Theron Nelson Wheelock, born calculated 25 Jan 1826
Notes:
The Vermont Vital Records show the birth of Andrew Jackson Wheelock, son of Oliver Wheelock, born 18 Jan 1826 in Rockingham; implying, perhaps, that the first Andrew Jackson Wheelock died young.
The 1850 Census shows Oliver, born about 1793, residing in Athens, Windham Co, VT with his (presumed) son, Theron Wheelock, born about 1826. This is probably the Theron Wheelock living in Francestown, Hillsborough, NH in 1880, age 55, with wife Ellen J., daughters Delia and Clara, and son Nelson. Theron died 13 Sep 1899 in Francestown. Per NH death record, he was the son of Oliver Wheelock and Susan King.
The 1925 NH death record of Theron's son, Nelson Theron Wheelock, identifies his parents as Theron Wheelock, and Ellen Wright.
The 1936 NH death record of Theron's daughter, Delia Francis (Wheelock) Dodge, identifies her parents as Theron N. Wheelock and Ellen J. Wright.
