William presumably died in England before Laura and her daughter Maude (who went by the name Laura at the time) went to Nova Scotia, then to Maine in 1919. The immigration records refer to Wisbech, Cambridge, as their home in England.3

In 1920, Laura M. Nichols, 9, and her mother, Laura E. Nichols, 42, housekeeper, were living in the household of James Wright, 63, in Belgarde, Kennebec Co, ME, all born in England.

In 1923, Maude's mother married Oral H. Dolloff, both residents of Mt. Vernon, Maine, at the time.4

Maude had two children with Roy M. Bickford, and three with Bill Wheelock.

Maude died in Portland in 1917, a few months before her mother died. The two are buried together in the Forest City Cemetery, South Portland.

Oral Dolloff died 25 Apr 1954 in Mt. Vernon. He was survived by his wife, Laura Dolloff, a son, Morris Dolloff of Mt. Vernon; a step-daughter, Mrs. Maud Wheelock of Portland, and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.10
