Beulah was born northwest of Alva and attended the Fairview Grade Schools, graduated from Alva High School in 1918, and attended the Oklahoma University at Norman for two years. After a long absence, she returned to college at Northwestern State College and received her B.A. in elementary education in 1956, and a Master of Teaching in 1964. She taught in Isabel, Kansas, Pruna and Beaver, OK.
Beulah and Ralph had two children, Jacquelyn McCrady and James Richard McCrady.

According to the Medfield Vital Records, Oliver died of a "liver complaint". His death notice in the 15 June 1831 and 18 June 1831 editions of the Boston Columbian Centinel report that he died in Marshfield.
