Susan Packard's headstone in Kent's Hill Cemetery in Readfield, ME, reads as follows: "Susan R. w. of David Wheelock d. Apr.12,1876 Aet. 87y. 2m.". This gives a birth date close to that given by The Alden Kindred of America Genealogy (http://www.alden.org), 7 Feb 1789, but disagrees with the 1850 Census which gives her age as 67, implying a birth date of about 1783.
Letter from Anna Wheelock-Niemela

According to his death certificate, Byron was the son of Cyrus Hubbard Wheelock and Marion Dallin. He died of "Edema Lungs - cuased by chronic interstitial nephritis". The informant was Ella Wheelock Preston.
The death certificates of several of his children identify his wife as Dorothy Christensen.
There are, no doubt, more children in this family than are listed here.

Jonathan served in the Revolutionary War. He marched on the Lexington Alarm, 19 April 1775, in Captain Ross Wyman's Company of artillery, from Shrewsbury. He was later engaged for the town of Townsend, under the command of Lieutenant Jackson, of the artillery.
The Pepperell marriage record for Jonathan Wheelock and Eunice Blood indicates that Jonathan was from Raby, which is modern day Brookline, NH.
Jonathan's will was filed in 1842 at the Windsor District Probate Court, North Springfield, VT, volume 17. In it he mentions his wife, Eunice, his son Gershom, his son Jonathan, Jr., and wife Susannah, and their children Edmond Wheelock, Alba Wheelock, Granvil Wheelock, Orval Wheelock, Norman Wheelock, Lucretia Wheelock, and Lucetta Wheelock.
Jonathan and his wife are buried on their old farm in Cavendish, VT, about 3/4 of a mile up on Scrabble Hill.
