Josephus Wheelock, of Eastport, Mississippi, married Mrs. Mehitable Spaulding, 2 May 1854, in Jericho, VT, per Vermont VRs.

His daughter, Cornelia (Wheelock) Gleadall, b. 1824, d. 1875, is buried in Tuscumbia, Alabama (per headstone, a picture of which was kindly supplied by Harvey Wade, Sep 2008).

A Josephus Wheelock is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Iuka, Tishomingo Co, Mississippi, documented at www.FindAGrave.com, memorial number 71809786. He died 1 Jan 1872, age about 74 years.
