Henry J. Clarke authored the sketch "Captain Ralph Wheelock of Sturbridge, His Ancestors, and Some of His Descendants", Quinabang Historical Society Leaflets, Vol 1, No. 15. Read in part before the historical society, 29 June 1903. Much of the material about Captain Ralph Wheelock of Sturbridge was taken from this essay.

Beulah was born northwest of Alva and attended the Fairview Grade Schools, graduated from Alva High School in 1918, and attended the Oklahoma University at Norman for two years. After a long absence, she returned to college at Northwestern State College and received her B.A. in elementary education in 1956, and a Master of Teaching in 1964. She taught in Isabel, Kansas, Pruna and Beaver, OK.
Beulah and Ralph had two children, Jacquelyn McCrady and James Richard McCrady.

The book "Samuel Davis, of Oxford, MA, and Joseph Davis, of Dudley, MA, and Their Descendants", by George L. Davis, published by the author, North Andover, MA 1884, has the following to say about Delorma Brooks Wheelock:
"Delorma B. WHeelock settled at South Reading, now Wakefield, MAss., where he was a trader; removed in 1868 to Barre, Vermont, where ne now lives and cultivates a farm. He has filled the leading town offices, is justice of the peace, and a trustee of the Barre Academy; has been president of the Washington County Agricultural Society."
