In 1807, Betsy Converse had a child out of wedlock, with her cousin, Paul Wheelock. The child is named in the will of her aunt, Lydia (Davis) Wheelock, dated 21 Oct 1818, and is called Paul Wheelock 3rd "illegitimate child born of Betsey Converse."1
Betsey died before 8 Sep 1814, when her administration of estate was begun.2
Betsey's uncle, Adams Wheelock, was appointed guardian of her child in 1818. The guardianship identified Paul Wheelock and Betsey Converse as the parents.3
Paul later changed his name to John A. Wheelock. John died in Worcester 21 September 1848.

Elliot Converse and his wife, Elizabeth, moved to Madison County, New York sometime before 4 Dec 1827, when Elliot Converse of Lebanon, Madison County, purchased of Samuel and Martha Osgood of Hamilton, Madison County, a parcel of land being part of lots no 92 and 93 in Eaton.1
In 1830 Elliot Converse, age 30 to 40, was living in Eaton with a female, age 20 to 30, a female under 5, and another age 10 to 15. On 5 March 1831, Elliot Converse and his wife Elizabeth, of Eaton, sold to Jonathan Olmstead of Hamilton, a parcel of land being part of lots no 92 and 93 in Eaton.2
Elliot and Elizabeth Converse engaged in additional land transactions in Madison County in 1832 and 1834.3
Elliot died on 1 Jan 1835 in Lebanon. On 7 Jan 1835, letters of administration were granted for the estate of Elliot Converse to Elizabeth Converse and Peabody Mosely both of Lebanon.4
A Betsey Converse, aged 40 to 49 was living in Lebanon in 1840, with two females under 20, and two females 20 to 29. She has not been found in the 1850 census.

Henry is probably the son of Henry and Prudence (Dudley) King, of Sutton and later Leicester, Massachusetts. For reasoning, see the Research Notes.
Henry King died intestate, Worcester County probate case 35287. His widow, Abigail King, declined to settle the estate of her husband, so the duties fell to her son, Dexter S. King. Bond was filed on 25 Aug 1827 by Dexter S. King, yeoman, John King, Esquire, and Daniel Livermore, yeoman, all of Leciester.
Other children of Henry King named in Worcester County guardianship case 35333: 2 Oct 1827, Pamela D. King, over 14 years of age, a child of Henry King late of Leicester, decd, and made choice of Abigail King for her guardian. The "above named Abigail King" also appointed guardian of Amasa W. King and Wm. H. King, two children of Henry under fourteen years. Signed by Dexter Sutman King, John King, Esq, both of Leicester.
Research Notes:
Henry is referred to as Henry King, Jr. in the land and vital records. For example, on 17 Mar 1808 Henry King, Jr. of Leicester, and his wife, Abigail, mortgaged a tract of land in Leicester to John Wheelock of Charlton (Worcester County deed 169:317). The records of births of his children in Leicester also refer to him as Henry King, Jr.
This suggests he was the son of Henry and Prudence King, born in Leicester 27 Feb 1779. He would be just the right age to record his intention to marry Abigail Wheelock on 23 Feb 1805.
The bond for Henry's administration of estate was posted by Dexter S. King (his son), Daniel Livermore (a neighbor), and John King, Esq. John was probably his brother, another son of Henry and Prudence King.
The 1810 U.S. census shows Henry and John King living jointly on property in Leicester. This was probably Henry, Sr, and his son, John, based on an 1804 deed in which Henry sold half his property in Leicester to John King of Ward (now Auburn), Massachusetts (Worcester County deed 154:257). The deed has no dower signature. In 1814 he sold the remainder of the property to John King (Worcester County deed 193:568). There is again no dower signature, which implies that it must have been Henry, Sr, since Abigail would have signed such a deed if it were Henry, Jr. Prudence died in 1802, explaining the lack of her signature on either deed.
