Robert Kelley (Henry, David, Edward), born in Boston in 1714, moved to Charlton where he engaged in farming, and was very active in town affairs. He served in the Revolutionary War as a lieutenant under Captain Benjamin Richardson. He had four children by Ruth Wheelock, and seven by his second wife, Lydia Marrs of Warren, MA.
