The obituary of Mina (Loomis) Wheelock, published in the Sterling Daily Gazette, 27 Nov 1961, mentions her sons Jay. L and Elbert K., both of Rock Falls, her sister Miss Carrie Loomis of Prophetstown, and two grandchildren, Mrs. Richard (Sue Ann) Hunt of Evanston, and Miss Sharon Wheelock, a student at Northern University, DeKalb.
