Rufus Wheelock appears in the 1830 Census next to Noah and John Wheelock at Ervings Grant, Franklin County, MA.
Rufus Wheelock and his son Joseph appeara in the 1850 Census in Sturbridge, MA, in the household of Caroline and William J. Babbitt.
The North Brookfield death record for Rufus Wheelock identifies his birth place as Milford, and his parents as Timothy and Joanna Wheelock. His age at death is given as 84 y, 3 m, 1 d, indicating a birth date of 25 Oct 1768, which conflicts with the birthdate of his brother, Noah, who was born in Dec 1768.
The calculated birth date for Rufus Wheelock conflicts with the birthdate of his brother, Noah, suggesting an error in Rufus' death record, or Noah's birth record.
