William's last name is difficult to discern in his Vermont marriage record, it may be Cantrell, Cantwell, or a variation.

Aubrey V. Wheelock is enumerated in the 1910 Census, listed as the son of Charles V. and Laura Wheelock. He is enumerated in the 1920 Federal Census, age 33, living in Cheboygan, MI, with wife Catherine A., born in Illinois, age 29, daughters Harriet, age 3 4/12, and Jean, age 1 month, and son Charles W., age 2 1/2. Also living in the household is Mary Taylor, servant. He is enumerated in the 1930 Federal Census, living again in Cheboygan, MI, with wife Catherine A, children Harriet E., age 13, Charles W, age 12, Robert A., age 5, and Mary E., age 1 8/12. The remaining children: Aubrey, Maurice, William and Carole June are taken from the records of David Lawrence. It's possible that William is the Charles W. who appears in the census records. Carole June might be the Jean that appears in the census records.
