The 1846 Worcester marriage record (Mass Archives, vol 25, pg 209) for Catherine M. Wheelock and Elisha Muzzy identifies her parents as Eliab and Mary Wheelock. She is single, age 44, a tailoress. Elisha and Catherine appear in the 1850 Worcester Census, without children. Elisha Muzzy died in 1858 (Mass Archives, 122:186). The 1871 Northborough death record (Mass Archives, 240:281) for Catherine Munro (Wheelock) Muzzy identifies her parents as Eliab Wheelock, born Marlborough, and Mary Gassett, born Northborough. She was born in Northborough, and died there on 9 July 1871, age 70 years, 4 months, 3 days. She was a widow at the time, no cause of death given.
This is, no doubt, the Catherine M. Wheelock (1801 - 1871) buried in the Howard Street Cemetery, in Northborough. On the same headstone is Abigail Wheelock (1793 - 1861).
