Winslow and Mary lived for a time in Calais, VT, before moving to Shipton, Richmond Co, Quebec sometime between 1805 and 1807. Winslow Pope apprenticed as a shipwright in Providence, RI, and later practiced the trade at Trois Rivieres, Quebec. Winslow Pope's death date is recorded on his headstone in Castlebar Cemetery, Shipton, 17 Feb 1847, age 75y 7m, as transcribed at www.interment.com, in disagreement with his 1770 birth date.

The Lobdell Genealogy makes reference to Irene Wheelock Lines, daughter of Olive Wheelock and Elijah Lines. Irene Wheelock Lines was born 19 Aug 1827 in Vermont, d. 28 Mar 1896 at Caro, Tuscola Co, Michigan. She married Sherman Judd Lobdell 1 Oct 1835 at White's Corners, Erie CO, NY.
