Daniel Day, brother of Luther, is referenced in letters between Luther and his mother, written while Luther was attending school at Bennington, VT, and Cambridge, MA, circa 1835-1838. An undated latter from Luther directly to his brother Daniel also survives; all are in the posession of Llewellyn Rindald, whose husband is a descendant of Amariah Wheelock.

The Leominster Vital Records do not use the "Old Style" date notation. The birth date is given as "Jan 10, 1726, at Lanchester".
The Lancaster Vital Records record the birth date as 7 Jan 1725/26.
The Leominster Vital Records record the marriage of Olive Wheelock and Jonathan Broadstreet (of Lunenburg, MA) in Lunenburg, July 2, 1741. Though Olive would have been only 15 years old, it is likely that this is the same Olive. Supporting this theory is the fact that Olive's nephew, Jonathan Bradstreet Wheelock (son of Phineas) may have been named after Olive's presumed husband, Jonathan Broadstreet.
